a heavier influence of punk and metal with the traditional elements
of psychobilly.
Why
The Autopsies as a name?
We
all decided on a name that we felt that could overlap other genres
and appeal to a wider audience yet have a horror appeal as well.

We
released our first EP under Killjoy Records a few years back, Memoir
From the Morgue took a more roots approach to our take on traditional
psychobilly , for 2020 we’ll be releasing our first full length
album called Welcome to the Morgue, we’re looking forward to
sharing that with everyone.

What
do your songs talk about?
Our
lyrics are typically horror based but we try and incorporate
contemporary issues we are faced with on a daily basis, although we
know monsters don’t truly exist other than in our heads, we feel
there’s nothing scarier than the human mind, mixing fantasy and
realism into our lyrics.
Oh
gosh we’ve shared the stage with so many amazing acts (local and
over seas) let’s see if I can remember: Batmobile,Koffin Kats
,Nekromantix ,Delta Bombers, The Test Pilots, Guana Batz, The Rezurex
, Stellar Corpses, Lower Class Brats, The Dickies, Banane Metalik,
Gutter Demons, Thirsty Crows, The Quaranteds, Radarmen, The
Sindicates, Lost Boys, The Gritty End , those are just to name a few!
