Conocí a dos de los chicos de Lost Boys en el pasado Psychobilly Meeting de Pineda gracias a una valedora muy querida por todos y es que estos chicos son encantadores. Pese a que la entrevista la hacemos en inglés, porque ellos están en los USA, Edgar, uno de ellos me platicó en español y estuvimos un ratito hablando y fue una experiencia genial el poderme acercar un poquito mas a la escena californiana que tanto admiro. Where are you from?
Joseph and Phillys are born and raised in Santa Ana,CA. Edgar stays a couple miles over in Anaheim.
When did you start playing like Lost Boys?
Maybe around the last couple months of 2017; Edgar and Joseph started writing material. By January 2018 Philly hopped on drums and things were coming together.

Do you have other parallel or tested bands from other bands?
Edgar also plays bass in the Autopsies. Joseph and Philly just focus on Lost Boys.
Influences?
Besides OTHER old school psychobilly groups; we all live on a steady diet of old outlaw country, 80s/90s subcultures, and bad decisions!

Joseph: Doors, Krewmen, Meantraitors and DAG
Philly: Frenzy, Cock Sparrer, Sir Psyko, and Major Accident
Edgar: Godless Wicked Creeps, Damage done by worms and Mad Heads

With whom and where have you played? Upcoming events of Lost Boys?
This summer we got to open up for Demented are Go and Klingonz this past (2019) summer in Tijuana,Mexico. We opened up a couple local LA shows for Phantom Rockers, The Devil Wrays, and Zombie Ghost Train.

Are there good bands in your environment? Which ones?
We’re spoiled here in Southern California. It is packed with amazing acts; One week we’ll have international acts headlining in a giant theatre and the next we’ll have all the local acts (Gamblers Mark, Grims, Quaranteds, Radarmen, Peabrains) crammed into a tiny bar. It’s pretty awesome.
