Rockabilly & Psychobilly films by Charles Vane & Hektor Plasma

Hello this time we will present you psychobilly and rockabilly films on this themes.

1. Six-String Samurai (1998)

This is one movie when I first watched it on our national television about 16 years ago.

It has made a deep impression on me ever since and left a very good memory in me.

The movie is about a rock and roll samurai in a post-apocalyptic world, he headed to Las Vegas, where only he would be the King of Rock and Roll. Because of this, death and its subordinate metals constantly pursue it in its path to eliminate it and the metal to reign.

2. Roadracers (1994)

A recalcitrant rocker faces his future thugs...

3. Rebel Without a Cause (1955)

A rebellious young man with a troubled past comes to a new town, finding friends and enemies.

4. American Graffity but only first part (1973)

This is a movie with a lot of fun and great soundtrack.
A typical movie about college, chicks, cars, sex and fun.

5. The Lords of Flatbush (1974)

A group of kids in Brooklyn form a gang.
They must face their problems.

6. The Wanderers (1979)

The Wanderers is a teenage, Italian gang in Bronx, NYC, 1963. They have their confrontations with other gangs. Drugs and weapons are uncool. Adult life awaits them.

7. The Outsiders (1983)

The rivalry between two gangs, the poor Greasers and the rich Socs, only heats up when one gang member kills a member of the other.

8. Grease both parts (1978/1982)

This series of films is so popular that it needs no description.

9. Rumble Fish (1982)

Rusty James, an absent-minded street thug struggles to live up to his legendary older brother's reputation, and longs for the days when gang warfare was going on.

10. Cry Baby (1990)

11. The Loveless (1981)

12. Deuce of Spades (2011)

13. Deuces Wild (2002)

14. The Heavenly Kid (1985)

A hip guardian angel named Bobby Fantana, who died in a car race in the 60s, reluctantly agrees to watch over lonely 80s high schooler Lenny Barnes who needs guidance on how to become cool.

15. Flick (2008)

Memphis cop Lieutenant McKenzie is called in to investigate a series of strange deaths and weird sightings following the resurrection of a murder victim from the 1950s (a local boy) who is brought back to life in modern times and tries to find his teenage sweetheart who is now aged 62 and also to seek revenge for his death.

16. Dandilicious (2020)

Dandilicious is a Stylized Neo-Western about a day in the life of a Teddy Boy during the 1950's. Our hero (or anti-hero), Marty, is living the life of a public menace within his own town. Getting into fights and causing disruption on the streets, Marty is the 'King of the Teds' - or is he?

17. Rockabilly Requiem (2016)

West Germany, 1982: Hubertus and Sebastian are fighting for their Future against their fathers. Their unconditional love for Punk Princess Debbie and the raw power of Alternative Rockabilly Music are the only statements of Freedom in this little nowhere town. Everything else around them is boundaries and pressure. But they decide to run and live their truth. Big cast, Great Young Actors, emotional and intense, Original Soundtrack by German Rockabilly Bands.

18. Psychos (2016)

Russia, Moscow, our days. Two young fans of psychobilly music, adhering to no unambiguously expressed civic stand, consider themselves fascists. Influenced by the environment and fascinated by the pseudo-appeal of external attributes, they remain unaware of how far all of it may lead to. A leader of the organization commits murder which the main characters are later on accused of. The situation is complicated by the fact that the protagonist falls in love with a girl belonging to the movement ANTIFA. In attempt to prove their innocence both guys face manifestations of the real fascism, and the latter turns out to completely contradict their real beliefs and internal principles. The movie shows that fascism is alien to any normal person and healthy society, regardless of the country, nationality and social status in question.

19. A Bronx Tale (1993)

A great movie with Robert de Niro. About the gangster life and the journey in his son's life.

These are some of my favorite films, with the exception of one of them that is still in the making.
There are many more movies related to this topic and each one is great.

20. PEYOTE SONG (2020/2021)

This movie is still in the works.
It is expected that the beginning of autumn or the beginning of the next year at the latest 1994. Two youngsters – the Guy and the Girl, go harvest magic mushrooms in a forest. Surprisingly, their adventure becomes a series of deadly dangers.
